Ageing Symptoms Of Lower Urinary Tract In Relation With Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

Current approach to the lower urinary tract symptoms affecting the ageing men has been significantly changed. It has been clearly shown that the symptoms which were defined incorrectly as prostatism were in fact due to other causes, than benign prostatic hyperplasia in a large group of patients. Thus it is obvious that treating the prostate will not improve the symptoms in a significant number of patients.
