Lower Urinary Tract Reconstruction In Neurogenic Micturition Disorders

Neurogenic voiding dysfunction must be approached first by conservative and medical treatment options. If conservative measures do not work, surgical treatment should be tried. This article mainly focuses on lower urinary tract reconstructive surgical procedures in neurogenic voiding dysfunction based on our experience and the literature. To be more comprehensive short presentation of micturiton physiology are included. Before proceeding with surgery, characteristics of neuropathic bladder patient and the disease itself must be taken into consideration.
