Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy ın Pediatric Patients

Pediatric kidney stone is an endemic disease in developing countries. Recurrences may be frequent and they usually will require surgical intervention more than once in their lifetime. The majority of stones in children can be managed using minimally invasive techniques. Proper treatment planning and use of appropriate instrumentation are important to achieve optimal outcome. Surgeons performing percutaneous surgery are more experienced in developing countries because of the large number of pediatric cases.
