Surgical Complications In Renal Transplantation

The patients wainting for transplantation is stil increasing, waiting times and number of patients who die while waiting for transplant are also increasing.
Surgical complications of renal transplantation is not so rare. When it occurs, it threatens life of the patient and the greft. Thats why emergent diagnosis and treatment is needed.
Patients with chronic renal failure are poor feeding, anemic, have bleeding disorders and poor wound healing. These problems may aggreagate after immunosuppressive treatment, rejection or infection.
Complications after renal transplantation may occur during or after surgery. After surgery complications may also divided into two as early and late period compications.
