Renal Injuries

Computerized tomography has replaced intravenous urography and angiography in staging and follow-ups after the treatment of renal injuries, therefore algorithms also have been changed. Hemostatic agents and tissue glues has been incrasingly used during the open trauma surgery.
Since trafic accidents gradually increase, incidence of the renal injuries also increase. Therefore, pursuing the changes in the approach to the renal injury is important to prevent future complications.Keywords: Kidney, injuries, hemostaticsTurkiye Klinikleri J Surg Med Sci 2007, 3(21):1-13
