Peyronie’s Disease

Peyronie’s disease (PD) is still a dilemma for many years.It is well known that it results with deposition of collagens onto the tunica albuginea of the penis.It may end up with penile curvature, painful erections and in long term erectile disfunction are the clinical presentations.Many investigations regarding its etiology and pathophysiology have been done especially in the recent years.However we still could not reach definitive and specific information regarding PD. Even though it is easy to diagnose and significant diagnostic methods can be applied,specific treatment is still lacking.Critical point in deciding the treatment of PD is its stage.
